November 6, 2018: Election Information for Absentee Ballots
For information regarding absentee voting the Peaine Township Clerk can be reached via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or by phone at 231-448-3540 or 231-510-1091 (be sure to leave a message if calling either number). The Clerk's office hours at the Peaine Township Hall are Tuesdays from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Other than during office hours, the Clerk or Deputy Clerk can be found at the station weekdays from roughly 11:00am until 6:00pm. Blank absentee ballot applications can be picked up at the hall during office hours, or at the station. Blank applications can be mailed upon request. November 3rd up to 2:00pm-request an absentee ballot by mail
November 5th up to 4:00pm vote via absentee ballot in the clerk's office
November 6th up to 4pm EMERGENCY absentee voting
Clerk will hold office hours from 10am until 2pm on November 3rd and 1pm to 4pm on the 5th.
Also note that the last day to register to vote in the November General Election is October 9th by 5:00pm. Clerk will be in office from 1-5pm on October 9th.
